Submit a proposal to the INC Longform series

At the Institute of Network Cultures we are encouraging the publication of longform articles and to that end we are looking for new submissions for the INC Longform series. We are looking for authors from both freelance and professional backgrounds, working on interesting topics and eager to share their work with a wide international audience. All are welcome to submit a reflective piece of work ranging between 3000-8000 words for online publication. Those who are in the early stage of their writing career are also very much encouraged to send in a proposal.

As a digital publishing platform, topics of our most recent long form publications include web design, emotional software analysis, social networking and cybernetics, but we are also interested in submissions on topics within philosophy, art, political theory, design, activism, and urban studies.

At the INC we are aware of the current state of precarity surrounding the freelancer, the student, and anyone depending on the vast landscape of the digital as a means of income, we therefore want to offer recognition to our authors through a small monetary contribution.
