A couple of days ago I finished a long and fascinating email interview with Alan Liu, author of The Laws of Cool. The interview first ran on the nettime mailinglist, a ten year old habit of mine. I met Alan Liu for the first time at UC Santa Barbara in the Iraqi invasion spring 2003 when I did a residency at his English department. I will be there again, early April for the Digital Transitions conference.
