Café-restaurant Star Ferry
Restaurant on the ground floor of the Muziektheater aan t'IJ, the musicetheatre of Amsterdam. You will have a beautifull view on the IJ-river.
The Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ serves as a cultural anchor - one of the links connecting the newly developed IJ banks with the old heart of the city. The striking building was designed by the Danish architects 3xN and has won various Dutch and international architectural prizes. An imposing glass facade marks out the spacious public hall, with a grand-café called the Star Ferry, offering visitors a fabulous view of the IJ. The Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ consists of a multifunctional state of the art chamber music hall, seating 725, several foyers for workshops and master classes, a smaller hall seating 100, and extensive conference and catering facilities.
