Expert meeting

The Netherlands Media Art Institute in collaboration with MediaLAB Amsterdam is organising an expert meeting regarding the two year research project Culture Vortex, Program Line Public 2.0 on Thursday afternoon June 3rd.

The participants of this afternoon are a selected group of experts from various domains: artists, lecturers/educators, researchers, curators. Among the guests there will be representatives of the Culture Vortex Consortium Members:  The Netherlands Media Art Institute, Institute for Network Cultures, MediaLAB Amsterdam, Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, Amsterdam Stadsarchief, Virtual Platform, The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision, VPRO, Urban Screens Association and IDFA.

The preparation of this meeting is realised in several steps:

•    The current research that started in the beginning of April 2010
•    Preliminary survey: all participants will be kindly asked to answer a few questions as a preparation to the  discussions that will follow during the meeting
•    Preliminary interviews with artists: in order to reveal an actual opinion of the artists in relation to the NIMk, the role of NIMk for the artist.General details:
