On February 13, 2008 the book presentation of Zero Comments by Geert Lovink took place in Theatrum Anatomicum in De Waag, Amsterdam. It marked the official launch of the publication in the Netherlands.
The presentation included a lively discussion in which Cris van der Hoek presented Geert Lovink with four claims from his book. These claims illustrated Lovink’s comprehensive approach to blogging and critical internet culture. Zero Comments is the third book in a trilogy on critical internet theory after Dark Fibre (2002) and My First Recession (2003) but it is certainly not the last. Geert Lovink and Jodi Dean are currently working on a booklet in which they aim to develop a general ‘blog theory.’
