Expanded Publishing Fest
12 January 2024

triple book launch * micro book fair * tactical television * club night

Small publishers, authors, artists, designers, activists, programmers, and researchers worldwide have been gathering at the Institute of Network Cultures to experiment with new forms of publishing since 2004. On 12 January, we celebrated 20 years of INC publishing at the Expanded Publishing Fest.
This is the report of the event and the archival page of the live stream program of that evening.

19:00-21:30 📖  Triple Books Launch & Live Stream Art 📹

During the Expanded Publishing Fest, we launched three special INC publications. In between the publication launches, friends and collaborators joined us on stage for conversations about expanded publishing. This program was broadcast live on The Void, a research project and audiovisual platform for experimental publishing and artistic research started by the INC in 2022.

Program Outline:

19:30-19:40: Welcome by hosts Carolina Pinto, Sepp Eckenhaussen, and Tommaso Campagna.

19:40-20:00: Launch of Screentime Airtime Facetime, our first ever event-as-book, edited by Carolina Pinto and Senka Milutinović. This publication on forms of hybridity in culture is the final result of our research project Going Hybrid. Designers Lukas Engelhardt and Paul Bille will present the book together with editors Senka and Carolina, and host Sepp.
