Over the past weekend a small workshop took place at the Wissenschaftskolleg, where I am currently fellow. I applied for a grant from the Otto and Martha Fichbeck foundation, and won the competition. The proposal was written together with Anna Munster from the Fibreculture group in Sydney and built on our theses on ‘distributed aesthetics’. The (closed) workshop could only hold 15 participants. It was the first time I did something like this. It had a decadent feel, like being in a Swiss santorium, but on the other hand, it was intense and productive. I have posted related material on my pages. Trebor Scholz wrote an excellent report of the event on his blog. On the picture you see Brian Homes and Warren Sack. There is also a wiki page. I will report when there is more material becoming available.
