The Rietveld videos for the Unbound Book

Students of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie made video introductions for the sessions and workshops of the Unbound Book conference. The Graphic Design students developed the videos during the Interaction Design course by Luna Maurer and Roel Wouters.

The first video introduced the audience to the first workshop on Thursday: ‘Open Publishing Tools’. The video is called ‘Sharing is Caring’.

The second video is also part of the Open Publishing Tools workshop and the video is called:  ‘Clouds’.

The next two videos are made to introduce the second workshop: ‘Digital Enclosures’. The videos are: ‘Distraction’ and ‘Cheerleaders’.

On Friday, the second day of the conference, the conference started with the session ‘What is a Book?’. This session was introduced by the video ‘Godard’.

The second session was the ‘Unbound Book’ and this session was introduced with the video ‘E-merge’.

The last session on Friday, ‘Ascent of E-readers’ had as an introductory video ‘Historical Overview’.

Saturday, the last day of the conference, started with the session ‘Future Publishing Industries’. The video developed for this session is ‘The Enclosed Book’.

The last video ‘Paul Rand’ introduced the session ‘Book by Design’.
