010 Publishers (Uitgeverij 010) has been active for more than twenty-five years. During that time, 010 has published over six hundred books on architecture and design. Besides numerous monographs by and about Dutch architects, 010 has published books on the most wide-ranging aspects of architecture, interior design, photography, industrial design, graphic design and the visual arts. These aspects include a keen interest in the theory and history of architecture and design.

Amsterdam University Press
Amsterdam University Press (AUP) was established in 1992 by the University of Amsterdam and was based on Anglo-Saxon publishing model. Within a few years AUP has built up a publishing list of more than 1400 titles. The scholarly and trade publications of AUP are available in Dutch or English and relate to subjects in the area of humanities (language and literature, history, film studies, art) and social sciences.
BIS Publishers
Familiar subjects of BIS Publishers include graphic design, fashion, architecture, product design and advertising. BIS has earned a national and international reputation for prizewinning books for creative professionals and their clients. Well known is the prestigious series of Dutch Design books, which BIS has published every two years since 1990 in collaboration with the Association of Dutch Designers BNO.
Brill
Founded in 1683, Brill is a publishing house with a rich history and a strong international focus. Brill’s publications focus on the Humanities and Social Sciences, International Law and selected areas in the Sciences. Casco
Casco was founded in 1990 in Utrecht, the Netherlands, as a platform for experimental art. Since 1996, Casco has developed a critical programme that explores art in the public realm, questioning the relation between art and its physical, social and political environment.

Roma Publications is an independent art publisher, founded in 1998 by artist Mark Manders and graphic designer Roger Willems. Witte de With was established in 1990 as a center for contemporary art with the mission of introducing contemporary art and theory in the context of the City of Rotterdam as well as the Netherlands as a whole. The institution initially sought to present an alternative to both the classic museum for modern art and existing artists’ initiatives. Over the years, Witte de With has evolved, growing to also commission and produce new works of art. This has resulted in the development of a local, national and international network of people and organizations who follow and actively support the institution’s activities. From the very start, many of these were accompanied by or documented in publications, which are now widely distributed and read.
